Pret kicked off their festive menu with three new additions based on much-loved Pret snacks; Love Bar Latte, Popcorn Bar Hot Chocolate and Gingerbread Snowman Latte. As well as hot beverages, Pret launched a new range of ready to drink Cold Brews. November is an interesting time to launch a cold drink, but it’s becoming more popular and looks set to continue that way. There has been a 9% increase in iced beverage launches in Autumn 2021 in comparison to 2020 (Kerry Insights, 2021)
Other notable additions to the seasonal offerings are McDonald’s brand new Choco Fudge Latte (£1.79) and Starbucks Iced Salted Maple and Caramel Latte (£3.95) – another iced beverage in the festive releases.
