UCC Coffee developed a concept that works for our pubs and helped us launch it successfully.

The new coffee offer, combined with some clever marketing efforts, attracted lots of new customers through the doors. More people are now seeing us as a coffee destination and we’re always getting great customer feedback.


Introduced new
on-trend coffees

  • Introduced new on-trend coffees, alongside familiar favourites, to complement a traditional pub menu and atmosphere.
  • Added a dedicated coffee only end to the bar, making it easy to serve flat whites, iced lattes and iced teas efficiently
  • Used threesixty˚ Rainforest Blend’s distinctive flavour, alongside a new stand-out menu design, to make the estate’s coffee offer grab attention and be memorable.
  • Trained staff to make consistent, quality coffees, through our Coffee Works programme.
  • Continued partnership and support with the Oakman team to ensure the highest standards and profitability across the entire estate moving forward.


  • All employees, at all sites, became capable of serving speciality coffee at consistently high standards. Operations managers completed Coffee Works’ ‘Manager Critique’ training to help maintain these high standards.
  • Together, this led to coffee sales growing by 23.6% (2016 vs. 2017).
  • The offer created, most importantly, something different to the noisy, crowded high street chains.
  • The end result was a vibrant café retreat, all within a familiar, welcoming pub environment, that’s accessible to all.
