It’s safe to say that summer is now in full swing and we’ve seen store fronts and point of sale transition from winter warmers to summer coolers. Starbucks has extended its usual summer menu to include limited edition exotic Teavana teas, served both frozen and over ice.
Caffè Nero, albeit a little late to the table, has started promoting its ‘drink of the summer’, a coffee tonic drink, in partnership Fever Tree. Promising customers a light and refreshing tonic water, served over ice and topped with a double shot of espresso.
Elsewhere on the high street, Costa Coffee has extended its in-store retail offering to include Dolce Gusto pods and Nespresso-compatible capsules, highlighting consumers’ desire to replicate high-street coffees at home.
We had a fantastic evening sponsoring at this year’s #nationalrestaurantawards. We were honoured to present the award of 'Restaurateur of the Year' to the brilliant @TomKitchin Congratulations to all the winners! @The_NRAs
